An endowment keeps the principal donation intact while deriving the financial benefits of the interest earned from the investment of that principal, usually for a specific purpose.

As HazingPrevention.Org works to ensure its ability to fulfill its mission for the long-term, we seek opportunities for individuals, organizations and corporations who are interested in establishing endowed funds.

In 2011, HazingPrevention.Org launched its first endowment with Digital Pix & Composites by establishing a fund that will ensure the long-term viability of the National Hazing Prevention Week Photo Contest, now the NHPW Digital Pix & Composites Photo Contest.

An endowed fund is typically restricted in its use by those who establish it. This offers a wonderful way to provide memorial scholarships and other program funding in memory of a loved one, or to recognize an individual's contributions to hazing prevention.

As a 501(c)(3) organization as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service, donations to HazingPrevention.Org are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
