In addition to all the ways you can support us, we would love to hear your thoughts about what kinds of services we should be providing. Most of our current opportunities involve service on one of our committees, helping to plan our events, develop resources or brainstorm new ideas. Volunteers who serve as chairs provide quarterly reports to their respective volunteer supervisor. Please use the template to fill out the report: Status Reports

We have a volunteer management plan to ensure year-round attention to serving volunteers' needs. We appoint on a year-round basis, but most volunteers are appointed in September and serve through the following September. All volunteers should fill out a volunteer involvement form each year. We also encourage our volunteers, who contribute time and talent, to give their treasures. Donor Form may help you decide at what level you would want to contribute. HPO is a 501c3 which may allow you to deduct your donation from your taxes. We encourage you to review appropriate IRS policies and tax protocol that meet your individual circumstances.
